I could have made a blog from the other angle - Wedding venues to avoid in Bristol, which there are more than a few, but in the interests of not getting a law suit against me Ill go with the best!

Over the years I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly of wedding venues in Bristol - In no particular order, here are the best - lets go!

Leigh Court is a country house which is a Grade II* listed building in Abbots Leigh, Somerset, England. The grounds and park are listed, Grade II, on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens of special historic interest in England.

An award-winning restaurant in Clifton, with a private members' club for those with the means.

From the Moment you see the Clifton Pavilion you will know you have found the perfect venue for your wedding day

Set on 18 acres of gardens and hillside woodland in a 19th-century gothic villa, this secluded, upscale hotel is 2 miles from the Cribbs Causeway retail area off the M5 motorway.

Georgian hotel restaurant with an open fire and a grassy garden serving Modern European dishes.

A small compact stadium with very good facilities and helpful staff

World, jazz and classical music in a former Georgian church and acoustically renowned concert hall.
